Major Update!

Sorry for the length of this one, but it has been two weeks since our last post.

Ok, so let's see....

Since we last posted Daniel and I had the greatest opportunity to have our engagement pictures taken by Starla Steward! Words cannot express how much we loved working with Starla! When we were finished with our photo shoot, it felt like Daniel and I had fallen in love all over again. I will use Starla in the future for many things, and will recommend her to anyone who wants to fall back in love with that special one. Please visit her site, and contact her... she is amazing! http://www.flickr.com/photos/starlasteward As soon as we get our pictures, we will post them on here for everyone to see.

The MAJOR EVENT that has been taking up our time has been the Paragould BBQ. Daniel and I have acquired so many items for our house, so we decided that it would be a great idea to throw a BBQ for our friends and family that were unable to make it to the wedding (and of course those who are able to make it). So we had our first BBQ in Paragould, Arkansas. It was a success! We had lots and lots of food, and played some really funny games! The best game that we played was a hobby game. The way you play the game, is you ask 5 people to sit outside of the room and ask them to pick their favorite hobby, but not to tell anyone. While they are outside you talked to the auidence and let them know what is going on with the game. As the contestants come back in, have them seated and ask them a serious of questions.... Let the last question be "You have been such a sport with this game, however, this entire time you thought that you have been answering questions about YOUR HOBBY, but you have been answering questions about the hobby "KISSING". So please tell us what your hobby really is..." There were so many laughs during this game! It was amazing!

We want to thank everyone for coming to the BBQ. Daniel and I had so much fun!

Ok, so as many of you know Daniel and I have been working on the house we are renting. We finally got our master bedroom finished (with the exception of a rug and curtains, but we can wait on that), the guest bedroom is finished with all of our books, the living room, the kitchen, the office are all finished! The living room is becoming one of my favorite rooms of the house!

Dan has been accepted into Freed's Graduate Bible Program, and starting this summer he will began work on the Masters of New Testament. It will be a hard road but it will be rewarding since Dan loves to learn. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his education.

The days til the wedding are quickly decreasing, but we are ready for it!

We will post pictures online as soon as we get them!

Hope you all enjoy this!

In Him,
Daniel and Angel

"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." Albert Einstein

"No Tears in Heaven Fair, No Tears, No Tears Up There, Sorrow and Pain Will All Have Flown..."

I want to start off this blog by saying that I have the most amazing Bridesmaids! They are working together towards the big day. They are not causing Drama (Which is always nice). What more can a girl ask for.... A seester, A new sister, two old "country" dancing friends?! Thanks guys!

So this week has been a rough one physically! Daniel and his dad went to Alabama and moved the fridge, my bed, and a small entertainment center thing back to Arkansas. While they were doing that, I had some AMAZING help with hanging pictures. Thanks for your help!! I love to design and organize, but the one thing that just irritates me is when you are hammering a nail in the wall and "OUCH! HELLO ANGEL THE HAMMER GOES ON THE NAIL, NOT YOUR FINGER!" Yea that's right I hammered my finger! Please take a moment and laugh while I cry.... hehehe... Anyways.. The guys got back to Arkansas, and they unloaded everything into the house. We did have a minor set back in this journey of moving... my bedroom suite and the rugs smelled of smoke, so that was not fun! We will have to buy a new mattress and boxspring for our bedroom, but that's cool.

The plans for the Paragould BBQ are underway. The BBQ is in a couple of weeks and it is going to be great! If you are in the area drop by and say hi! It is gonna be at Centerhill COC.

Moving Status: 98% Complete

This past week has taken our physical state and turn it upside down.

Daniel and his dad moved all of our stuff from the storage unit into the house, and after two days, Daniel and I have it all put away. Next we need to get the bed and fridge from Alabama here and we are OFFICIALLY moved in... kinda. Daniel is at least.

Daniel went to a F.O.W. tournment this past weekend with his R.B.I. guys (all of which is probably greek to most, but it's important... lol). Daniel came in fifth place out of 14 people. Not bad I say for playing a War game. CONGRATS! He got qualified for a national tournment, which he is not going to... oh well.

This has been an emotional week for the two of us. I think that each day, no matter what our age is, we "grow up". There are different situations that present themselves that we are not acustomed to, and we have to stop and think "What am I suppose to do?" And in that little question we realized, "we are growing up." And this past week has been that, in more ways than one. But what Daniel and I have realized, that in these situations we grow closer to God and in turn grow even more closer to each other.

I have been reading different blogs over the weeks, and I have found one blog that has presented a GREAT idea. Posting a quote each day/ or each week that we have come across..... So look forward to seeing that!

In Him,
Daniel and Angel
