Welcome June!

As we bid farwell to June in a week, we look back on the things you have brought to us these past couple of weeks.

1) Much needed Rest. As Daniel and I got off of the honeymoon, I came down with a "the sickness" (to quote a song!). I was out of commission (what commission I am not sure) for two weeks. Just to find out I have an abnormal Thyroid. YAY FOR MORE MEDICINE! NOT! I am doing much much better now.

2) Birthday Birthday Birthday! We were blessed to celebrate many birthday's this month: My Grandmother, Mom, Dad, Mom and Dad's Anniversary, Daniel, Rick, Monica, Uncle Mike C, Andy, Andy's twins, and mine. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL THE JUNE BABIES!

3)Many Deaths. On a sadder note, there has been many deaths this month.

My dad's cousin past away on Father's Day. He had been battling cancer for some time now. I am happy that is in a place of no pain!

On the very next day, my birthday, my dad's mom, my grandmother, past away. She was 85 years old! It was a shock to all of us. She had been declining for a while, but we were not expecting her to leave us this soon. Daniel and I were suppose to visit her the day that she died. I miss her so much, but I am glad she is in a better place.

Ed McMahon will always be the Star Search man to me! I was reading an article about him saying that is known as, "The Greatest Sidekick."

Farrah Fawcett passes away after a long battle with cancer. I have seen many people battle Colon/Anal Cancer over the past few years, and let me tell you it is a battle and a half. If Colon Cancer is caught at the early stages, a patient can walk away from it! Please research the signs of Colon Cancer, and get yourself checked! It's not the best thing in the world to do, but IT SAVES LIVES!

Michael Jackson, a.k.a. The King of Pop, passes away today suddenly! I use to take dance growing up, and it never failed that we would do a dance to one of his songs! No matter what he did in his personal life, he was an amazing performer! I grew up listening to his music!

4) Good Grades Daniel took his first test of Graduate school and recieved an "A" Congrats to Daniel.

5) Softball to Face. My brother Jeff was playing a softball game, and got hit in the face with a softball. He broke his cheeck bone. So we had to go to the ER and of course we cracked jokes while we were waiting. Here are the ones we came up with: "Jeff wanted to be half Chinese" "Jeff became an air head when he blew his nose and half of his face swelled up" "The lady at the ER window asks, "Can I help you?" Jeff replies, "Yea, half of my face shrunk." "Come on Popeye." "Stop winking at me." "You can't play tag with a softball and expect to walk away with nothing." "You are suppose to use your glove, not your face." "Halloween is still 4 months away Jeff, you can't be blowfish just yet!"

6) Misc Non-Sense. I bought some Yellow Box Flip Flops! THEY ARE SOO COMFORTABLE! We have driven the Jeep Liberty for 2,000 miles this month alone! I think that we are going to invest in Fram Stock. My dentist appointment was recheduled twice in one week! How crazy right.

So, June, we love you so much! Thanks for the many memories...... I think.

Wedding Bliss is over, Reality sits in!!!

So Daniel and I are officially married! We are both very excited! But just so everyone knows the "new" has almost worn off. lol. Daniel and I were sitting here tonight and he said, "I love the way you say 'I love you'" Then I proceeded to burp (mind you I had just taken a big gulp of Coke), and he said, "That killed the mood!" No but seriously, Daniel and I cannot be even more happy! I know what you are thinking, "Barf" but really we really are happy!

We are happy that the wedding plans and the wedding are overwith! It was amazing! There was so much planning that went into the most perfect day our our lives. And that is what it turned out to be! Thank you to everyone that helped with the wedding plans and the wedding. Daniel and I appreciate it very much.

Daniel and I have chosen not to put our wedding pictures online for numerous reasons, however, if you would like to see our pictures just let us know. I am working on a scrapbook of the wedding, and as soon as it is finished everyone who wants to see it is more than welcomed to!

Daniel and I went to Williamsburg, VA and Washington D.C. for our honeymoon. That was an experience! We went to the historic places and even got to tour a battleship! That was awesome!

Back to reality! Daniel and I have a home in Paragould, Arkansas. It is a nice 2 bedroom, 1 bath home that we are renting. It may seem small, but let me tell you it is HUGE! Especially for the two of us! If you are in the area and would like to stop by or even come and stay with us, just let us know! Daniel started graduate school this past Monday, and he has found out that it is not easy! But that is not slowing him down! He has been reading and studying non-stop. What about me you may ask, well Angel has been sitting here doing nothing. Lol. I am on the job hunt this week, hoping to find a job and SOON! Oh well. Classes for me start up again next month.

So I think you are pretty much caught up on everything. So let's talk about the present and future! lol.

The month of June is amazing! There are so many birthday's in the month of June, and if you know me, you know that family is a very important part of my life. Birthdays are another reason to gather together with family (like we actually need a reason right?).

Well I think that is all for tonight! Take care!

In Him,

Daniel and Angel
