~Goodye August! We will miss you~~
I think that everytime we blog, we always say, "A lot has changed." Well, a lot has changed this month!
Daniel recieved his final grades from the summer term. After his first semester of Graduate school he has a 3.0 GPA! We are all very proud. The fall semester just started for Daniel, so he has set the bar high for maintaining the GPA. You can do it!
Angel went for a job interview at the Jonesboro Human Development Center. She did not get the job she interviewed for; however, she did recieve a part-time position at the same location. The job will begin September 8th.
Angel's friend, Tina, married her sweetheart Len! Congrats to the two of you!
Daniel's cousin, Christa, had her baby. The Newberry Family welcomed Carlie Jean! Congrats! She is a cutie!
Angel's nephew, Andrew, turned the BIG 7 this month! Daniel and Angel were not able to attend his party, however, he told us that he had a Star Wars party! They are growing up so big!
We also blogged earlier in the month about changing our way of life, and starting to exercise and become more healthy. We did very well for about three weeks, then a "hold" was placed on our exercising. Other than that we are doing exceptionally well!
Speed Bump #432 of Life
Throughout life there are Speed Bumps that we come face to face with. Daniel was involved in a car accident on his way to Henderson, Tennessee. The car is totaled, and I will post pictures of it later this week. Daniel is alive, and that is the important part. Following his accident he was showing symptoms of dizziness, nausea, vomitting, light-headed-ness, and loss of breathing during the night. So, it is now been a week after his accident, which includes, three ER visits, a passing out spell during church, very little sleep, and lots of tears. Daniel has shown a lot of improvement today, which is an amazing thing given this past week. Everyone will be happy to know that they did a CT of the head and neck, and he DOES HAVE A BRAIN. :D He is scheduled on Tuesday of this week for an EEG. I kid around with him telling him that now since the brain was found, we have to find out if it functions. :D We are in great spirits now, since he is getting better. Man was this past week difficult and stressful.
We know that many prayers were said on our behalf this past week, and we thank you so very much! We know that the power of prayer works, and we are so thankful to have amazing friends and family! We will keep you posted on his test.
Thank you for everyone who has supported us throughout our journey! We love you all!
In Him,
Daniel and Angel
